Every year, on January 1st, I write down the goals I want to reach.
On December 31st, I list what has truly been accomplished. Between the two, there is life. Paths that confirm themselves, and others that shift. Some goals naturally lose importance along the way, while others emerge without ever having been planned.
In 2025, I discovered Iceland for the first time. One of the most striking trips of my life. Perhaps the place in the world that feels the most like something other than our planet.
I celebrated life, through moments such as our shared birthday with Raphaël Varane at Lake Como, or J Balvin’s in Tuscany. I played in a castle, was knighted by France, experienced New York nights during Fashion Week, recorded in legendary studios in the United States, and pushed my limits on stage.
I had committed to meeting you after each recital of the Piano Tour. I was exhausted by the end of that journey, but those exchanges nourished me deeply. Over the months, I also imposed a real discipline around sport.
This time of year is also when I center myself around my family. Each year, I make sure we all gather somewhere in the world. I am incredibly fortunate to have a brother and a sister who are both brilliant, and to be so close to them. Our parents raised us with a sense of ambition and solidarity.
With Lina and Adam, we have always supported one another. When one moves forward, the others follow. When one discovers something, it is shared. We lift each other up together. It is a foundational value for me, a compass.
You know Lina through her violin appearances, on the track SINCERELY, or when she joins me on stage, at Bercy, at the Olympia, or more recently at the Château de Chantilly. She is a diplomat, currently Director of Artist Residencies at Villa Albertine, the cultural services of the French Embassy in the United States.
Adam is an athlete and an entrepreneur. Trained as an artificial intelligence engineer, he learned piano just like I did. He is currently working on a major project that I am following closely.
Let’s come to the most important information in this letter: 2026 will be the year of my fourth album.
Time will pass very quickly between now and its release in April. In the blink of an eye, we will be there. I am eager. And at the same time, I want to savour each day, continuing to reveal clues, inviting you into its universe even before it fully exists.
We live in an era where everything moves very fast. I have worked on my craft every day since childhood. Offering an album is an accumulation of days, experiences, and details. This one required two years of work. Two years of passion, discipline, and precision. When you listen to it, you will understand the level of attention I put into it.
Today, this album is still mine. I am enjoying that time. In April, it will be yours.
My best wishes for 2026. May this year bring you health, the right amount of luck, and above all, the presence of the right people by your side.
Sincerely,
Sofiane Pamart
