Unlike friendship, unlike love, unlike family, the invisible thread that connects an artist to the people who follow his music exists without knowing each other in the traditional sense.
And yet, something real passes between us.
When I walk on stage and feel thousands of hearts aligned with mine, I realize that my role goes far beyond playing the piano.
You give me something that no artist can demand but every artist hopes for: attention, trust, and a place in your inner world.
That is sacred to me.
Right now, on the road, after each concert I meet you.
I do not ask many questions. I listen.
Last night, one of you told me:
“All we need is the peace your music brings to us.
My kindest respect to your efforts.”
I carried that sentence with me for the rest of the night.
There is a paradox in this connection.
You know a part of me that is true, but incomplete.
And I know nothing about you, except the emotion you reflect back to me.
Still, when the music starts, we meet somewhere in the middle and I feel connected in a strong way.
I play without hiding.
I believe my responsibility is to be sincere. Because sincerity creates a safe space.
I have learned that when I play with transparency, you answer with your own.
And this is how the invisible thread between you and me becomes the strongest.
There is beauty in the mystery of this bond.
It allows the music to breathe.
It allows projection, imagination, interpretation.
Maybe my music is also a reflection of what you carry inside.
And what I receive from you gives shape to the artist I become.
Sometimes people say that artists are “made” by their public.
I do not know if that is entirely true.
But I know this: you reveal parts of me I might never have discovered alone.
You push me to grow. To dare. To rise.
I put myself at the service of a mission that is bigger than I am, and for which I am willing to make every sacrifice.
There will be a before and an after what is happening right now.
Remember these words.
We will enter history together at the Stade de France, gathered around a piano, and the music of my fourth album will take us into another dimension.
There is much I have not yet revealed about these two announcements, but you cannot say I did not warn you.
There will be a before and an after my fourth album.
There will be a before and an after my Stade de France.
Forever.
Sincerely,
Sofiane
