Two years ago, I made a decision that changed everything.
I left Paris for Los Angeles, looking for sun, distance and silence. I needed a pause. I finally took time to process all the changes that happened in my life over the past few years.
I had the desire to write and compose again from scratch, as a new adventure and from a different perspective.
I decorated my new home around the grand piano and an astonishing view above the whole city. I brought beautiful plants, lots of vinyls, pictures of my closest people.
I started embracing the area. Days stretched endlessly, filled with a strange mix of peace and vertigo that only a new lifestyle can bring.
I started from the bottom, suburb of Lille, and suddenly I am here: living in the hills of Los Angeles.
Slowly, the music returned. I began composing what would become my next album. Each morning, I opened the windows and composed, guided by nature around at sunrise.
I never miss one. Light here is different. Golden, magnificent: an endless and daily spectacle.
After two years of sincere work, solitude, amazing encounters and joy, I can finally say it: my fourth solo album is ready.
Twenty tracks shaped by the landscapes of California and much more, by the most iconic music studios and by the glamour of my personal life.
It is my most ambitious project so far. A dialogue between intimacy and grandeur, between my inner silence in creation and Hollywood.
This letter marks a beginning for a new way of sharing my world.
Piano Scenes will be a space to share with you my thoughts and emotions, to deepen our bond together, that already saved me and changed my existence forever.
